Book Hooks Schoolhouse 2024-25
We are a hybrid microschool for students in 3rd-9th grades that partners with parents to develop lifelong learners with a passion for Christ, exploration and conversation. Students attend class onsite 2 days a week, and they complete personalized assignments at home the other 3 days a week. I accommodate special needs on a case by case basis, depending on whether I feel I can meet the needs of all students in the program.

Philosophy:
Each student is uniquely formed by our creative God and has unique strengths, interests, and needs. We focus on engagement and interactive learning processes during on-site days, while individualizing assignments to provide personalized learning opportunities during at-home days.
Admission Process:
This is a personalized educational program that partners with parents.
In order to determine if we can meet your student's needs, we ask for Parents/Guardians to complete the application first. The questions on the application are meant to help us formulate a plan for incorporating your child and his/her specific needs into the program.
Once the application has been submitted, you will be contacted to schedule an interview with the director. At least one parent/guardian and the student need to be present for the interview.
If space is open, students will be admitted to the program if the director feels the program will be able to meet their academic, social, and emotional needs. If the program is full, students eligible for admission may choose to be on the waitlist.
Once admitted, a $100 nonrefundable deposit will hold your place in the program. However, waitlisted students will receive a refund of the $100 deposit if space does not become available.
The $400 remainder of the application fee is due by June 1, 2024.
