Creating a Contact List
A Contact List allows you to store and manage email addresses that are not already saved in your Spark platform (such as guardians or staff). You can organize contacts using tags for better filtering and communication.
To create a contact list:
- Navigate to Communications → Contacts.
- Click Create Contacts.
- Enter the email address and name.
- Add tags to help organize and filter contacts.
- Click Create Contact to save.
Managing your Contacts using Tags
Creating Contact Tags
Tags help categorize and filter your contacts for targeted communication.
- Go to Communications → Contacts.
- Click Manage Tags.
- Enter the tag name in the Add New Tag field.
- Click Add Tag to save.
Sending Emails with the Contact List
Using your Contact List, you can send announcements or custom emails to all contacts or to specific groups based on their assigned tags.
- Compose your announcement or custom email.
- Click Send Emails.
- In the email modal, scroll to the Contacts list on the right.
- Select the contacts by clicking All or the Add Tagged dropdown.
- Send the emails.
