- What an enrollment funnel is and how it works
- How to use your enrollment funnel
What is an Enrollment Funnel?
The Enrollment Funnel is where you manage and process the submitted applications for your enrollment program. It provides a clear overview of all applications and allows you to track their status throughout the enrollment process.
To find your enrollment program's funnel, open your program and go to the Funnel tab.
How It Works:
- Pending: New applications appear here once they are submitted.
- Move to Different Status: You can move applications to one of the following categories:
- Accepted
- Waitlist
- Rejected
- Email Notifications: When moving an application, you can send a custom email message to the applicant.
Using Your Enrollment Funnel
Once an application is submitted, it will appear under the Pending section. To process an application:
Step 1: Review the Application
- Open the application by clicking on the applicant's name.
- Review the details, and add or update details if needed.
Step 2: Move the Application & Notify the Applicant
- Open the application.
- Click Change Status at the top.
- Select the new list to which the application will be moved.
- Ensure the checkbox labeled "Send Email to Applicant" is checked.
- Add a custom message in the provided field (you can also send a test email to yourself).
- Click Move to (List Name) to finalize the change and send the notification.
Step 3: (Optional) Link or Create a Spark Student, Guardian, or Family
- You can create a new student, guardian, or family directly from the application (see the FAQ below for instructions).
- Alternatively, you can link new information to an existing student, guardian, or family profile in your system.
Step 4: Review Student Tallies
The Students Overview section at the top of the Funnel page displays the options for your program, along with tallies of how many students have been accepted into each option.
Important Note: The tallies will not update until the application has been moved to the Accepted list.
