Overview of your Integrated Stripe Account

Spark uses Stripe to process online payments securely. Be sure to monitor emails from Stripe, as they may contain important updates about your account.

Accessing Your Stripe Account

Once online payments are set up through Stripe:

  1. Go to Settings in your Spark account.
  2. Navigate to the Online Payments section.
  3. Click Go to Stripe to access your Stripe Dashboard.

Using an Existing Stripe Account

  • You can use your existing Stripe login credentials to set up online payments in Spark.
  • However, enabling online payments in Spark will create a new Stripe account, as each Stripe account can only connect to one platform according to Stripe’s policy.
  • After creating the new account, you can use the same login credentials for both Stripe accounts and toggle between them as needed.

Using Your Stripe Account

Key Pages in Your Stripe Dashboard

  • Home: View a chart of your total earnings; access overviews of payments, revenue, customers, and failed payments.
  • Balances: See the amounts paid to your school, including funds still in transit to your bank.
  • Customers: View details about guardians, students, or other payers making online payments.

Giving Others Access to Your Stripe Account

You can invite team members to your Stripe account and control their level of access by assigning roles.

To add a team member, enter your Stripe account and use the gear icon to access Settings → Team and Security. Click + Add New Member and follow the steps.

The new team member will receive an email invitation from Stripe. They must accept the invitation, log in to Stripe, and complete identity verification to gain access.

Linking More Than One Spark School to Your Stripe Account

You can link multiple schools to the same Stripe account by using the same email address. In your Stripe Dashboard, you’ll be able to view and manage all linked schools in one place.

Changing Account Information in Stripe

You can update your Stripe account information, including your email, phone number, financial institution, and school name. To make changes, click the gear icon in your Stripe account to access Settings. Then, navigate to the Profile or Business section to view and edit your details.

Notifications and Support

Notifications: View important notifications by clicking the bell icon in your Stripe Dashboard.

Support: Access help by clicking the question mark icon and selecting Support Articles or Support Center.

Export Data: Export activity and customer data as needed using the Export button at the top of lists.
